NEPA Board of Directors

 

 

 President Rachael Gottlieb, DVM


Dr. Gottlieb began her term as President of NEPA in January of 2017 after several years as Secretary. She is originally from Ohio and graduated from the University of California-Davis.  She did an internship at Northwest Equine Performance in Mulino and returned there to practice following graduation

                                                                                                     

                                                                                                            

 

Past-President Alice Lombard, DVM



A Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Lombard received her undergraduate degree from University of Washington and her veterinary degree from Washington State University. She joined the NEPA board in 2011 and served as President in 2015-16.

 

Treasurer, Ben Braat, DVM


Dr. Braat is one of the founding members of NEPA and has served as Treasurer for many years.  He graduated from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1966 and started practing in Albany in 1968.  He founded Linn Veterinary Hospital in 1974 and enjoys equine reproduction. Hobbies include hunting and following college and professional sports. 

 

Secretary Lindsey Moneta, DVM


Dr. Moneta is a 2013 graduate of Oregon State University and practices at Pacific Crest Sporthorse in Oregon City. She joined the NEPA Board in January of 2016.  

 

Jared Nyman, DVM

Wes Violet, DVM


Dr. Violet joined the NEPA board in January of 2012.  He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981.  Dr Violet's areas of interest are equine reproduction, lameness diagnosis and treatment, and equine medicine and surgery.  He is a member of the AAEP and enjoys spending time with his children and their four horses.

 

 

Michael Huber, DVM

William Whitler, DVM


Dr. Whitler is the board's OSU CVM faculty representative and is an associate professor of theriogenology. He also has several years of experience in private practice.



 

Chris Wickliffe, DVM


Dr. Wickliffe joined the NEPA board in January of 2017.  He graduated with a DVM from Colorado State University after previously completing the CSU farrier program. He earned a BS in Economics from Oregon State University and a BS in Equine Science from CSU. He practices in Corvallis.
